With the growing awareness that our carbon footprint is too big, I started looking at my influence on this. I don't want celebrating a party with my custom decorations to be a burden on the environment. By choosing the party decorations of Atelier ABC, you contribute to a better world. That gives you and your guests a better feeling!
The materials used by Atelier ABC
Atelier ABC chooses materials that are not only beautiful and of good quality, but are also the responsible choice:
Paper: The paper of your cake topper or bunting is made of recycled paper or paper with the FSC quality mark and EU Ecolabel . This means that recycled paper is reused and therefore reduces waste. The FSC quality mark ensures that the paper comes from wood from responsibly managed forests. The EU Ecolabel shows that the claim that the producer makes to be 'green' is correct.
Wood: The wood used for my laser products has the FSC quality mark . This means that the wood comes from sustainable and responsibly managed forests.
PLA Bioplastic: PLA is made from beet pulp and corn. This is a renewable resource, and therefore a sustainable choice. PLA plastic is biodegradable and a more environmentally friendly choice than traditional plastics.
Honesty and frustration
In all fairness, it is important to be clear that not all plastic at Atelier ABC is bioplastic... because there is not a usable eco alternative for all plastic. While the ball treats have a PLA bioplastic top, this is not yet possible for the chip tube ball . That frustrates me sometimes, you know! But I keep looking for alternatives. For example, I recently came across packaging bags made of PLA, so when my stock is used up, I replace them with these eco-friendly ones. The shakers in the cake toppers are also still made of plastic, but fortunately recycled. They are overhead sheets and I regularly find them to take over.

To steer
The letterbox boxes from Atelier ABC are new and have the FSC quality mark . If I send a larger box, it is almost always recycled. At Atelier ABC you can also choose to pick up, which is always the sustainable choice in the region of The Hague - Leiden - Zoetermeer!
Reuse of party decorations

A colleague of a friend recently received a bunting from Atelier ABC when she retired. She said that she hung it above the washing machine because that makes the annoying chore much more fun!
The cake toppers usually end up on the bedroom door of children, which is of course super fun. Every time the door opens and closes, you are reminded of that fun day and that delicious cake!
